Last week the FoundationDB community met in-person for the inaugural FoundationDB Summit 2018 . With over 150 engineers in attendance, the event brought together early adopters, contributors, and organizations with interest in the project for a single-track event that spanned topics ranging from the state of the community to the project's internals, and highlighted ways the community is extending the project.
We’ve also established diversity scholarships for applicants from underrepresented and/or marginalized groups. The deadline to apply for scholarships is next Friday, November 2.
FoundationDB Summit is also part of the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Community Events Day , and will be in the same Washington Convention Center as thousands of other open source engineers that week.
Early-bird tickets: $99 until Friday, August 31
