New COVID-19 Cases Haven't Been This Low In The U.S. Since Last June

May 23, 2021 • New cases have tumbled, sparking optimism that vaccination campaigns are stemming severe cases and the virus' spread. And, over the last seven days, average deaths fell to the lowest rate since July.
